Becca’s Antenatalfit Journey
I had a long labour- almost three days, and I firmly believe that the strength and stamina I had from keeping fit during my pregnancy helped me to deliver naturally.
The weekly antenatalfit classes challenged me throughout my pregnancy. The exercises were targeted at all the areas that all pregnant women worry about, and all the areas you wouldn’t have thought about- for instance your shoulders, which tend to hunch over later on in pregnancy due to all that extra weight up front.
I always looked forward to seeing the girls on a Monday, and made a number of friends I’ve kept in touch with.
Four weeks on and my body feels totally recovered, I can’t wait to meet Kirsty and the girls again at Postnatal Parkfit in a couple of weeks’ time.
Becca Kennaugh, Mum to Kirree, 3 weeks old.
Becca came to Antenatalfit early on in her Pregnancy and as a keen runner, she was keen to maintain her strength so that she would be able to return to her trainers as soon as she was able to after the first six weeks post natal. It was a priviledge for me to see Becca’s baby bump grow and to share that special time with her. We look forward to meeting Kirree and seeing them in the park for Postnatal Parkfit.
Congratulations on the arrival of Kirree,
