SET YOURSELF A GOAL!

To stay motivated, it is always good to have a goal in mind. This could be a distance walk or run, weight loss related or perhaps how you want your body shape to look and feel.

My current goal is to run my first marathon (Brighton Marathon) and last year it was to run the Tewkesbury Half Marathon and some 10ks. Goals do not need to be centred around running events, it could be that you want to try some cycling, swimming, a triathlon or perhaps enhance fitness to get back in to tennis.

The Race for Life events are always great fun with a great atmosphere and take place all over the country as well as some local events such as the Forest of Dean and Tewkesbury half marathon.
