The first session of ‘Learn 2 Run’ left me feeling elated and positive.

 I joined Learn to Run 5 weeks ago. I’d always wanted to get “into” running, but had lacked the motivation and knowledge of how and what to do.

The first session left me feeling elated and positive. It was a combination of warm up, gentle jogging with advice on good technique, interspersed with rests and muscle toning exercises, finishing off with stretches, all set in beautiful Pittville Park.
Each week we have gradually built up our times of running, and gradually reduced our rests.
I’ve found the Learn to Run course extremely positive and achievable, despite the fact I would not class myself as a fitness fanatic or a runner, and I find myself strangely looking forward to my Sunday mornings!
